SAI RANGA VIDYA SAMSTHE(R) was established in the year 1974 by Bhagavan Sri Sathy Sai Baba devotees under the leadership of late smt Swarnamma. “Service to humanity is service to God” was the ideal which prompted them to bring up this institution. This institution was registered on 15th march 1975 under the Karnataka Government’s society’s act of 1960.
          
            The object of the samsthe is to develop mutual love, affections, Trust, sacrifice as well as attitude of service among the members of the society.  The programs include child development classes, Bhajans, fruits distribution to leprosy patients and providing help to the needy. For the education of girls coming from poor families, short term courses are conducted to enable them to get educated. Encouragement will be given for the education of the children who live in slums.

This institution, showing deep interest in the welfare of the physically challenged mainly Hearing impaired children, opened residential school for deaf boys in the year 1990, in a rented house.  Later the Institution got its own site in Bannimantap Extension and constructed buildings, having all the infrastructure and facilities required for the Hearing impaired boys.
        
This residential school has classes from 1st to 10th standard. there are hundred   Hearing impaired boys studying in the school. The boys who are getting educated here are mainly from rural area. They all belong to backward classes and economically weaker sections of the society. These boys, besides giving education are provided shelter, food and all other facilities at free of cost.  
         
The school has obtained recognition from the Government of Karnataka. It is getting partial Grant from the central Government.

          The school has well trained teachers, who are helping the Hearing impaired boys to get good education. The classrooms are fitted with special group hearing Aids and equipments, thereby creating an ideal environment for their learning. Although deaf children are exempted from learning English and Hindi keeping their future progress in mind, these children are taught English also .The boys are being trained in Tailoring and computer education, so that they may seek self employment later. The school has excellent academic record and all the students are being helped in rehabilitation programs. Suitable guidance is provided to them to pursue Higher education.
            
 A spacious Sai Vaibhava Kendra   has existing within the premises of the Institution. Programs like Bhajans, satsanga, free Medical checkup and other social services arranged from time to time. An executive committee consisting of nine members manages all these activities of this institution.

To sustain and improve our services in rehabilitation we require your support. The Institution accepts generous donations and any kind of assistance, with a sense of deep gratitude. All the donations to this institution are exempted from Income Tax, under 80G.
